MORRISTOWN, NJL, Schindler Elevator Corporation, a leading elevator and escalator manufacturer in North America, has sold its O. Thompson Company (O. Thompson) to Motion Control Engineering, Inc., (MCE). MCE is a supplier of elevator controls based in Rancho Cordova, California. Terms of the agreement are undisclosed. The sale closed on September 21, 2004.

O. Thompson, located in Glendale, New York, has been serving the elevator industry for over 65 years. They offer a complete line of elevator controls as well as remote diagnostic and building management products.
