Akron, OH - Imperial Electric announces the immediate availability of its model SAM 1100 wire rope hoist. This high-performance, portable hoist has a lifting capacity of 1,100 lbs.

This hoist is powered by a heavy duty, 220/240 volt AC electric motor that provides fast acceleration and lifting speeds up to 65 ft./min. It comes with a sealed, weatherproof aluminum control box for optimum year-round protection. Security disk brakes are also included on this model along with a remote control unit that features an emergency stop button.

A major and exclusive capability feature of the Imperial model ALPHA 1100 hoist is its 115 foot lift. All Imperial wire rope hoists come with a remote control. This allows for easy, ground or platform-level control for lifting masonry bricks, concrete blocks, roofing, heavy tools and other building and maintenance equipment.
Mounting options are trestle and monorails.
